Mini Makeover

When our online magazine was conceived, I didn’t realize how much upkeep it would require! Fortunately we have wonderful writers, graphics artists and web techs that make each issue informative, visually pleasing and fun to read. The only direction I give is no scare tactics when covering controversial issues and make sure the info we supply is helpful. Our focus is healthy family living that utilizes natural remedies like homeopathy, herbs, vitamins, healthy eating, enviro-home and non-invasive skin care but with an understanding that conventional medicine has its place. To me, it’s about balance and choices.

We did a little revamp to this site by making the navigation easier and we integrated our online shopping site, www.californiababy.com, to make toggling back and forth easier. Not to get too tech-y but I want to share a little on how we improved our online magazine: we re-constructed it so we can get our content to you faster and easier than ever before. We’ve strived to make it more accessible to different devices, such as internet-enabled cell phones, assistive technologies for the disabled, and a wide range of internet web browsers. So, no matter how you’ve reached our online magazine, you will be able to read our articles without a hitch. These improvements are invisible—and to be honest, I wouldn’t have known about them if our Web Master, Carlos, hadn’t told me about them. I’m no web wizard, but I’m sure glad he is!
